Situated in the Côte de Beaune sub-region of Burgundy, specifically within the communes of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet is a Grand Cru vineyard, famous for producing some of the finest white wines in the world. The name "Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet" reflects its historical connection to two other Grand Cru vineyards in the vicinity: Bâtard-Montrachet and Montrachet. These three vineyards share similar terroir characteristics, including limestone-rich soils and ideal microclimates for Chardonnay cultivation.
