Description

Slightly raw green-leaf aromas. Lots of acidity and lively, slightly chewy fruit. Some hint of passion- and kiwi fruit but definitely subtle enough. Fresh and smoky notes. Clean and relatively approachable, but still unformed.

The 2019 Graacher Himmelreich Auslese (Gold Capsule) offers a concentrated and spicy bouquet with notes of tea and lemon chutney. Round and refined on the palate, this is a highly elegant and salty-piquant Auslese with delicate grip and very fine concentration. Weingut Joh Jos Prum

Prüm is one of the finest estates in the Mosel. Founded by Johann Josef Prüm in 1911, the winery rapidly built a reputation for its racy, pure expressions of Riesling, grown on the extraordinarily steep, slate slopes in the heart of the Mosel.
