Clear classy pale lemon. An impressive depth of balanced fruit, very attractive. Easy-going, shows more at the front of the palate, attractive white fruit, and some length. The fruit shows considerable ripeness, perhaps trending towards the honeysuckle. DIAM30 closure.Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy_com (May 2022)

En Remilly is generally regarded as one of the top two Premiers Crus in Saint Aubin, partly because of its proximity to the Grands Crus of Chassagne-Montrachet. Olivier Lamy's expression of the terroir hails from two parcels planted in 1989 and 1990, and is typically floral, taut and nuanced, with wonderful freshness and salinity and the concentration to age.Drink 2022 - 2028Tim Atkin MW, Decanter (October 2018)

The 2018 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru is adorned with an initially oily, almost petrolly nose that recedes to leave aromas of freshly cut lemon plus a subtle algae note. Well balanced with fine acidity, this En Remilly is very cohesive towards the finish with lingering lemon curd and orange rind. Very good length, this is a brilliant wine.Drink 2024 - 2045Neil Martin, Vinous.com (October 2020)

Ample and demonstrative when I tasted it from barrel, Lamy's 2018 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly has tightened up after bottling. Unwinding in the glass with notes of orange oil, nutmeg, pear and toasted bread, it's medium to full-bodied, bright and incisive, with a coiled and concentrated core, tangy acids and a long, saline finish. The only missing ingredient is time.Drink 2026 - 2052William Kelley, Wine Advocate (January 2021)

Domaine Hubert Lamy

There have been Lamys growing vines in St-Aubin since 1640 - today it is run by Olivier Lamy. Olivier is representative of a new breed of Burgundian grower keen to progress. He worked at Méo-Camuzet before taking over in 1996 from father Hubert. Olivier ceased supplying négociants in 1997, grubbing up and selling off peripheral vines, keeping only the best and oldest sites. Currently he is experimenting with different planting densities in a quest to capture even greater expression of terroir.
