Description
Torabhaig Allt Gleann stands as a mighty statement of intent; rarely has a younger distillery produced such an accomplished whisky as this. This is beautifully distilled from very heavily peated barley, with green aromas of leaves and drenched moss. The true joy here is an immaculate interplay between well-tempered, smoky forest characteristics, and a succulent malt sweetness. There are playful flickers of tropical and orchard fruits too. This would be delicious after dinner, or even during, alongside Scottish venison.
