A black grape widely grown in Central Italy and the main component of Chianti and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano as well as being the sole permitted grape for the famed Brunello di Montalcino.

Known locally as Prugnolo Gentile, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a renowned red wine from Montepulciano, Tuscany, predominantly crafted from Sangiovese grapes. Aged in oak barrels and with a centuries-old tradition, it offers a complex bouquet of red fruit, floral notes, and earthy undertones, complemented by integrated tannins and balanced acidity.
