100% Chardonnay from Avize grand cru. Spontaneous fermentation in old neutral barrels, inoculated malo, aged in old barrels. Zero dosage. Disgorged May 2023.

Pistachio nut and, a little bit of walnut skin and sorrel-leaf bitterness. Spine-clenchingly intense acidity. Persian lime and a central line that is both stony and steely. Citrine purity. Much more coiled and clenched than the other Agrapart wines. Intensity and concentration from the first molecule out of the glass to the last molecule lingering on the tongue. The length on this is extraordinary!

Chardonnay

Chardonnay is often seen as the king of white wine grapes and one of the most widely planted in the world It is suited to a wide variety of soils, though it excels in soils with a high limestone content as found in Champagne, Chablis, and the Côte D`Or. Burgundy is Chardonnay's spiritual home and the best White Burgundies are dry, rich, honeyed wines with marvellous poise, elegance and balance.
