From the dark clay and mineral-dominant single vineyard, Royal Tokaji presents a refreshing Aszú with a distinctive dusty, herbal spices and sour dough nose, which opens up to yellow apple, apricot, lemon fruits and bee wax complexity. While residual sugar sits at 185.8 g/l, the sharp acidity (10.2g/l) gives the Betsek a refreshing thrust. Mid gold in colour with a very youthful, pure nose of dried apricot and saffron. Great power and density on the palate, with real weight and generosity of fruit. The cut of mouth-watering acidity adds a savoury, earthy quality that brings a lip-smacking, spicy finish. Very powerful and rich, with glossy honey and stone fruits lingering for a minute or more. Furmint

A white grape variety grown in Hungary and Slovakia and the main ingredient of Tokaji Aszú. It is an early budding late ripening variety and and is particularly susceptible to botrytis.
