Description

Fermentation of this wine takes place in stainless steel tanks, with maturation in French and American oak & lasting for two years. The nose is dominated by red fruit but beneath this initial onslaught of sweet strawberry & seductive raspberry, there is a mineral edge which harnesses the enthusiastic fruit & gives the overall canvas a sense of harmonious restraint.
The beauty of a wine like this is that it appeals to amateur and enthusiast alike – pleasing ripe fruit on the front palate but so much more to be gleaned if one takes the time and energy to contemplate.
