Description
"This is an unqualified sleeper of the vintage, a beautifully opulent, rich, dense, ruby/purple-colored wine with sweet cassis fruit intermixed with some licorice and resiny notes. Quite full-bodied, pure, with good, sweet fruit covering moderate levels of tannin, this is a beauty and an undeniable bargain for a wine of this quality. In fact, Im not sure that its not even better than my rating. Anticipated maturity: now-2015." 89/100 points. (Robert Parker - Wine Advocate - Apr-2005)

Margaux
If Pauillac is the bastion of ‘traditional’ Red Bordeaux, Margaux represents its other facet in producing wines that are some of the region’s most sensual and alluring. The largest commune in the Médoc, it encompasses the communes of Cantenac, Soussans, Arsac and Labaude, in addition to the village of Margaux itself. Its finest examples are paragons of refinement and subtlety which have few parallels in Bordeaux.
