Thanksgiving Dinner with KellyBronze Turkey, Wednesday 27th November 2024

In the spirit of American Thanksgiving, join us in our Napoleon Cellar to indulge in a special seasonal dinner showcasing the royalty of the turkey world – the KellyBronze. These specially bred turkeys are raised wild, roaming and foraging freely in Essex woodland until they reach full maturity. Following age-old traditions, they are then hand-plucked and dry-aged, enriching their flavour with a robust, gamey quality unlike any other. During the evening, we will have both Paul and Toby Kelly on hand to tell their family story. They’ll also describe how their turkeys have come to grace the tables of monarchs, Prime Ministers and legendary chefs such as Michel Roux Jr. and Delia Smith. Paul also holds the world record time for plucking and carving a turkey, so will be sure to pass on some tips.

Accompanied by your knowledgeable wine host, the evening will feature a fine selection of exceptional wines from both the USA and around the world. This will include Grand Cru Champagne, a sublime mature Russian River Valley Chardonnay, and the wonderful Danbury Ridge Pinot Noir – produced just down the road from the Kellys.

Our Executive Chef, Stewart Turner, will craft an indulgent four-course menu, paying homage to the traditional American Thanksgiving spread and elevating this glorious bird to the very highest status.
