Description
We are delighted to welcome Master of Wine and Rhône Valley specialist, Simon Field, for a deep-dive into the wines of the Northern Rhône.
The rugged slopes between Vienne and Valence are some of the most unforgiving terrains in all of France. With only a very small number of winemakers daring to work them, the top wines of the region are now becoming increasingly hard to come by. The evening will be a rare opportunity to sample some of the region’s most prized and collectible wines side by side. From the highly aromatic white wines of Condrieu to the inky yet perfumed Syrahs of Cornas and Hermitage, this will be a thorough study of the region’s diverse terroirs and most celebrated vignerons. There will also be a selection of wines with bottle age to allow guests to discover how these wines perform after a stint in the cellar.
