Description

This is a beautifully balanced Barbaresco, displaying complex aromas of violets, dried rose petal alongside notes of white pepper and orange zest. The palate is wonderfully pure and energetic with complex layers of red fruit, alongside delicious notes of wild cherry, raspberry coulis and sweet spice leading onto a persistent finish. The silky, almost creamy texture combined with perfectly tuned acidity make this wine hard to resist now. Yet it has all the attributes to age for another decade or more. Delicious!!

Nebbiolo is the grape behind the Barolo and Barbaresco wines and is hardly ever seen outside the confines of Piedmont. It takes its name from "nebbia" which is Italian for fog, a frequent phenomenon in the region.

Produttori del Barbaresco is located in the Barbaresco region of Piedmont, Italy. It is a cooperative winery established in 1958 by a group of 19 growers who recognised the potential of the Barbaresco region and decided to join forces. It has grown to include over 50 members who collectively cultivate approximately 100 hectares of vineyards.
