Neal Martin MW 91/100
The 2005 Le Petit Mouton has a very expressive, vivacious bouquet with dark cherries, tobacco and even a hint of violet plucked from Margaux. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, a little more structure than the 2010, supremely well detailed, but perhaps just missing the sustain of that aforementioned younger vintage. Still, this an extremely fine Le Petit Mouton drinking now and over the next 15-20 years. Tasted August 2016.Neil Martin - 31/01/2017
Robert Parker 90/100
Beautiful blackcurrant fruit dominates the 2012 Le Petit Mouton de Rothschild. Pure, juicy, succulent, with ripe tannin and a medium to full-bodied, supple mouthfeel, this is a sexy second wine to drink over the next 12-15 years. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% equal parts Cabernet Franc and Merlot. robert_parker erobertparker_com #219 Jun 2015
