Christmas Super Tuscan Dinner, Wednesday 18th December 2024

Tuscan wine expert, Michael Dabbs, will host a festive four-course feast in our Townhouse dining room, featuring some of Italy's most iconic modern wines. Over the past few decades, these wines and their pioneering producers have challenged long-held winemaking traditions in the region, stirring controversy with their bold decisions to either craft wines from 100% Sangiovese or create Bordeaux-inspired blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot – both of which were previously forbidden by appellation law. The evening’s vinous treats will include offerings from the likes of Tenuta dell'Ornellaia, perhaps famous above all others for their flagship wines Ornellaia and Masseto, but also Bibi Graetz, who is arguably one of Italy’s most exciting contemporary winemakers.

As always, our in-house team of chefs will craft a suitably sumptuous four-course menu to complement these exquisite wines.
