Join Tuscan wine expert, Michael Dabbs, in our Pickering Cellar for a deep-dive into two of Tuscany’s most famous red wines, Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino.
The masterclass will begin by exploring the general characteristics of the noble Sangiovese grape variety from which these two regional wines are made, before moving on to taste a suite of wines produced by some of Tuscany’s finest estates. Over the course of the evening, we will discuss the similarities and differences in sub-regional terroir and winemaking. We will also have the opportunity to taste examples with bottle age, discovering how majestically these wines can evolve with additional cellaring.
