Description
A blend that uses the remaining and best situated generic parcels. Pellans sits beneath Meursault-Charmes 1er Cru and was planted between 1945 and 1950. Millerands is closer to the village and was planted in 1973. Notably creamier than the standard Bourgogne Blanc cuvée, this is, as usual, closer to a Meursault than a generic wine.

Critics reviews
Jasper Morris MW 86-88/100
Pale lime tint, a little stricter than the immediately appealing Aligoté. Then puts on some weight behind. Not far from a normal year in the end in style, with white fruit and adequate acidity.Jasper Morris, insideburgundy_com (January 2023)
About this wine
Chardonnay
Chardonnay is often seen as the king of white wine grapes and one of the most widely planted in the world It is suited to a wide variety of soils, though it excels in soils with a high limestone content as found in Champagne, Chablis, and the Côte D`Or. Burgundy is Chardonnay's spiritual home and the best White Burgundies are dry, rich, honeyed wines with marvellous poise, elegance and balance. They are unquestionably the finest dry white wines in the world. Chardonnay plays a crucial role in the Champagne blend, providing structure and finesse, and is the sole grape in Blanc de Blancs.
