Description

A blend of fruit coming from 35+ and 75+-year-old vines in Charmes Dessus, which is generally considered to be the best part; the parcel is situated directly below Perrières and abutting Combettes

A cool, pure, and wonderfully elegant nose, if distinctly restrained, reluctantly presents its aromas of citrus, floral, and spiced apple. On the palate, this is almost a blend of the Genevrières and Perrières as some of each attribute on the middleweight flavours, including minerality, intensity and focused power on the refined, balanced and highly complex finale. This is excellent and should age accordingly.
