Description

Always a happy time when we release the Trimbach wines - tasting all the wines is a pleasure. The 2019 Reserve is a selection from multiple vineyards in the Ribeauville region. Always dry and vibrant, the price/quality here is outstanding. The nose is forward with floral notes and lemon, citrus and just a touch of mint. Stone fruit, grapefruit and citrus show on the palate. It’s rich and fresh while maintaining great balance and minerality. Long and fresh on the finish. A wonderful wine at a wonderful price. Drink 2022 – 2026.

Jancis Robinson MW 16++/20
Very youthful, unformed nose. I suspect this will be much more expressive in a year or two, although in time it did open out a bit in the glass to some Riesling steeliness.
